He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Hazel; his siblings, Maxine Martin (Jack), Larry (Margaret) and Earl; and his son Gary (Jen).

He is survived by: his children, Penny (Bill) and Nick Jr.; his brother Douglas (Rosemarie); and also Shirley. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
