He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Philip Rose; his siblings, Marie Caley and Dave Douglas (Marg); his nephew Jay; his nieces, Alison, Emily and Paula; his parents, Jean Douglas and Charles Douglas; his brother-in-law Henry Caley; his former wife Louise Svarich; and his close friends, Miles Martin and Billy Chaisson.

When COVID restrictions are lifted and circumstances permit, plans will be made for a celebration of life in both eastern and western Canada.
