She was predeceased by: her parents, David McLachlan and Dorothy McLachlan; her aunt Jane; her son James Riches; her sister Netta; her brother-in-law Tom Kerr; and her nephew Scott Kerr.

She is survived by: her uncle James Pollock; her husband Bob Riches; her daughter Rhonda Anderson (Carey); her granddaughter Victoria Gagnon (Alan); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason, Lindsay, Laura, Ryan, Andrew and Hannah; and also, Zoe, Frank, Jack and Gordie.
