He was predeceased by: his wife Jean (Alice Cairns); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his children, Peter and Sara; and his brother David (Carol). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and their children, his sisters- and brother-in-law, as well as Alice's sons and daughter and their children.
