He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cordell and Pauline Cordell White. He is survived by: his siblings, Anne Marie Pennell of Brantford, Robert (Els) of Cornwall, Scott of Kingston and Cathy of Vancouver; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jason Pennell, Krista Patton, Justin Cordell, Scott Cordell, Molly Cordell and Katherine Cordell.
