He was predeceased by : his former life partner Joan Davies of Brockville. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen; and his sister Ruth. He is also survived by step-father and grandpa to his family.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A reception was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
