He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Gilchrist; his parents, John Gilchrist (Jack) and Christena Gilchrist; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Rhonda Gilchrist (Richard) of Peterborough, David Gilchrist (Melissa) of Petawawa and Ryan Gilchrist (Tara) of Verona; his stepdaughter Michelle Latimer (Ken) of Amherstview; his grandchildren, Zoee, Zackery, Connor, Amber, Ryder, Jimmy, Brayden and Chelsea; and his siblings, Ronald, Linda and Laura.
