He is survived by: his son John Gardener Dunbar Jr. John; his nieces and nephews, Steven Cherry (Tina Fasano), Cristy Robb (Patrick), John Hoare and Judy Hemlow; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brianna, Devon, Owen Robb and Taylor June Cherry; his brother-in-law Richard Cherry; and also, Marjorie and Earl Barnholder.
