Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Paul leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKegney and Mary McKegney; his son Michael; and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his wife Hazel; his son John (Angela); and his grandchildren, Hazel McKegney and Christopher McKegney.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul can be made to Kingston Community Living.
