He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Burke; his daughter Heather; and his brother Gerald Burke. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Roy (Ghislain) and Joseph Lee Burke; his grandchildren, Theresa Milligan, Erin Burke and Ryan Burke; and his siblings, Pam Scherer and Hillary Burke.
