He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynus Laverdure and Kathleen Laverdure; and his wife Barbara Laverdure. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Wildman (Josh) and Melissa Laverdure (Elliott Davis); his granddaughter Olivia; and his sisters, Tish LaVallee (late Garry) and Margaret Scott (Ron). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In honour of Wayne's life, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

We were neighbors on Caen Crescent in Fort Henry Heights. He will be missed by many. Over the years I would have occasion to see your parents and we always had a great time reminiscing and catching up on family news. I even had the pleasure of meeting you girls as a leader camping at the Girl Guide Camp at Carruthers.”
