She was predeceased by: her sister Olive Andrews (Wayne Andrews). She is survived by: her husband David Melrose; her siblings, Reta Murdock (Earl Murdock) and Roger Buchanan (Brenda Buchanan); her daughters, Brenda McAllister and Kimberley Daly (Kevin Daly); and her grandchildren, Victoria McAllister, Colton Daly (Leah Hutchinson), Camille Daesey (Matt Daesey) and Calissa Daly (Adam Vincent).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
