He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Thompson and Betty Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy MacDonald; his children, Renee Thompson (Jamie), Greg (late Karen) and Cari Tryon (Owen); and his grandchildren, Emalee, Aiden, Heidi, Lucas, Liam, Katie, Maddy, Isabelle and Ethan.
