He was predeceased by : his son Larry; his brothers, Homer (Bernice), Gordon (Ruth), Wendell (late Madeline) and Richard (Faye); and his parents, Homer and Yvonne.

He is survived by : his spouse Shirley; his children, Shirley-Ann Goodsell, Arnold "Dale" Goodsell (Norma), Diane Raftus (Andrew) and Brenda Davidson (Sean); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Mary-Anne, Jennifer, Andy, Larry (Rhonda), Dale, Isaiah, Lynn (Chad), David, Michael, Sean and Mark (Lindsay); and his siblings, John (Mary), Dale (Brenda), Ron and Gloria Callaway (Hector). He is also survived by grandchildren and his 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd, Kingston, ON K7M5H2). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
