She was predeceased by: her father George; and her in-laws, Rosemary and Terry Powell. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Powell; her son Devon Murray-Powell; her mother Agnes; her nephew Findlay; her aunt Marlene; her uncle Ian; her godchildren, Caelan and Nicholas; her uncles, William, Jim, John, Tom, Neil, Ronald and Lewis; Jillian, Elizabeth Savoy, James, Terri-Lynn, Tracey, Chris and Marlene. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Quality Inn (33 Benson St, Kingston, ON K7K6X4). For a short time, she took on the role of Acting Executive Director and helped to guide Kingston through the COVID crisis.
