She was predeceased by: her husband Alan McBratney; her siblings, Eleanor, Donald and Lawrence; and her cousin Mae.

She is survived by: her daughters, Alison (Stephen Tippet) and Maureen (Jamie Stufko); her pet Riley; and her grandsons, Sam and William.
