Mahendra Janmashanker Acharya Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2021, at the age of 71, Mahendra Janmashanker Acharya in Kingston, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Janmashanker Acharya and Manorama Acharya; and his brother Kiran (Shaila). He is survived by: his children, Samir (Jessica), Sima (Yatin) and Ritesh (Yuriko); his grandchildren, Rohin of Toronto, ON, Leela of Toronto, ON and Zian of Toronto, ON; his siblings, Ashok (Anjana) of Kingston, ON, Satish (Geeta) of Los Angeles, CA and Raksha (Pradip); his mother-in-law Pratima Bhatt of Kanata, ON; and his significant other Jyoti Acharya. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre (uhnfoundation.ca/programs/heart/) would be welcome.
