He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa. He is survived by: his children, Mark, Michelle Hottot (Mike), Yvette McDonald (Adam), Trisha Hottot (Mike) and Rebecca Evans (Gary).

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care teams at both Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Providence Care Hospital for the wonderful care during the COVID-19 pandemic in accommodating the family as best they could to ensure loved ones were by Marcel's side until the end.
