Margaret Petrie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Petrie of Kingston, Ontario, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Petrie to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard; and her sisters, Pat, Nancy and Chris. She is survived by: her children, Steve (Linda), Lou (Billy) and Sheila (John); her daughter-in-law Pam (Dave); her adoptive daughter Chris; and her grandchildren, Jennie (Scott), Lisa (Nate), Russell (Jen), Kyle (Petra), Cody (Cortney) and Madelen (Zach). She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren; and her many adored nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to Dying With Dignity Canada, in Margaret's memory.
