She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfrid Smith and Elsie Smith; her brother Gordon Smith; and her husband Donald Currie. She is survived by: her children, Allyson Sills and David Currie; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Sills and Jennifer Laprade (Chris); her great grandchild Thea Rose Laprade; and her brother-in-law John Robertson.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, and The Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
