She was predeceased by: her husband Jim McAskill; and her siblings, Gena Blatchford and John. She is survived by: her children, Elisabeth Zegers (Tony), Ian McAskill (Peggy) and Mary Bearse (David); her grandchildren, Sean (Christy), Lorraine, Emily (Jesse), Adam, Rachel, Neil (Robin) and Peter (Kate); and her sister-in-law Meg. She is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.
