She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hazel McCormick and Wilfred McCormick; her husband John James Sones II; her children, John (Meena) of Ottawa, Tom (Nancy) of Gabriola Island, BC, Nancy Chiasson (Daniel) of Baddeck, NS, Stephen (Yari) of Kingston, James (Joan) of Brockville and Richard (Elizabeth) of Vancouver; and her siblings, Sheila MacDonald (late Darwin), Fay McClure (Bob), Carolyn Joliceur, Larry McCormick (Carolyn), Richard McCormick (Marjorie) and Sandy Gensey. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
