She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Loucks; and her daughter Diana. She is survived by: her children, Judy Bowen (Rick) of Napanee, Linda Burgess (Brad Kennedy) of Napanee, Ken Loucks of Oakville and Rick Loucks (Hue Nguyen) of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Rob (Natalie), Amanda (Shane), Ray, Dan, Rick, Gabrielle, Mikaela, Isabel and Curtis; and her great grandchildren, Cal, Bryson, Ollie and Theo. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and extended family.

Donations in Melba's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be welcomed by her family.
