She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ron Lees; her children, Karen English (Jeff) and Hilary Watson; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Dumas (Matt), Matthew Watson (Jess), Andrew English (Sarah) and Tom English (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Aivah, Skylar Dumas and Riley Vellow-English; her parents, Sarah Cubberly (Davidson) and Charles Cubberly; and her sibling Joelsa Walmsley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre or the Kingston Humane Society.
