She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Gerow and Jessie Gerow; her husband Leland Dowker; her son Gary; and her siblings, Lorna Stinson (Fenwick) and Raymond Gerow.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Shane (David) and Barb Bowes (Joey); her grandchildren, Michael Shane (Elizabeth), Tammy Shane (Rob), Ryan Bowes (Melanie) and Chris Bowes (Shannon); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jessie and A. J. Rowe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends.

A donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Southern Frontenac Community Services in Norma's memory.
