He was predeceased by: his parents, Norva and Arnold; and his children, Raymond (Sharrol), Ryan (Crystal), Mikayla and Isaac.

He is survived by: his siblings, Sylvia Zomer (Gerrit) and Peter (Lynda); and his close friend Ron Jost (Norval). He is also survived by four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
