She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law June Murphy; and her parents, Harry Hughes and Bertha Hughes. She is survived by: her significant other Wilfred 'Sonny' Peters; her children, David (Barb), Debbie Hogan (Tim) and Linda Myers (Walt); her grandchildren, Stephanie Oliver (Tom), Tina Peters, Michael Hogan, Sean, Steven Mayo and Chris Mayo; her great grandchildren, Shannon Mayo, GeeGee, Preston and Taylor Oliver; her sister Phyllis Pelow (late Vince); and her sisters-in-law, Laurena Hughes (late Ted) and Edith Lay (late George). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Unit #5-720 Progress Avenue Kingston, Ontario K7M 4W9 would be appreciated by the family.
