She was predeceased by: her husband Norm Cox; her brother William; and her parents, Olive McCormick and William "Jim" McCormick. She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Cynthia Boyd), Robert (Agnes Cleary), Cathie (Paul Murphy), Paul (Judy Leahey) and Shelley (Russell Crowe); her grandchildren, Andrea Clark (Wylie), Erin Cox, Stephanie Xamin (Mark), Alex Amodeo (Matt), William Amodeo, Ryan Allen (Katalin Byker), Leah Cox (Aaron Bradford), Hilary Cox (Anthony Chalmers) and Michael Cox (Julia McLellan); and her great grandchildren, Braydon, Allyson Clark, Sophie, Jake Xamin, Bailey and Marshall Boles.
Her favourite flowers were gardenias and mums, but in lieu of these, donations to the Kingston Humane Society in Nana's name would be appreciated by her dog Bonnie.
