She was predeceased by: her husband Avite; her parents, Edward and Alice (Saulnier); her brother John (Gloria); and her brother-in-law Norman Cochrane.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Julie), Norman (Nance), David (Sophie) and George (Polly); her grandchildren, Eric (Alex), Louis (Nicole), Dain, Brandt, David and Paul; her great grandchild Luke; and her sisters, Dorothy, Carolyn (Evariste), Marion (Neil) and Diane (Burton).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis' memory to the SPCA – Yarmouth Shelter, and the Salvation Army.
