He was predeceased by: his former wife Ingrid Vander Veer; his parents, William Vander Veer and Patricia; and his sister Janni. He is survived by: his spouse Marion Kuipers; his children, Jeff Vander Veer (Sue) of Napanee, Kim Parkinson (Daryl) of Kingston, Jennifer Morris (Glenn) of Yarker and Eric Vander Veer (Lorena) of Roblin; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jared (Jolly Ann), Kris (Sam), Serena, Sara (Eli), Leo, Alex, Jada and William; his great grandchild Johnzen; and his siblings, Greta and Tilly. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON K7R1G1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Reformed Church (310 Kingscourt Ave, Kingston, ON K7K). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cataraqui Cemetery (927 Purdy's Mill Rd, Kingston, ON K7M3N1).
