He was predeceased by: his brother Bob Simpson (Myrtle); and his great grandchildren, Parker and Emmie. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Johnston; his children, Danny Simpson (Cynthia) of Seeley's Bay, Wendy Bolton (Brent) of Seeley's Bay and Cindy Laprade (Marc) of Wooler; his grandchildren, Tara (Ann Marie), Devin (Sarah), Sheena (Adam), Dustin (Laurie) and Spencer (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Francesca and Riley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to Seeley's Bay United Church or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Centre) would be appreciated by the family.
