He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Murphy and Vera Murphy; and his brother Ron of Sudbury. He is survived by: his wife Rita Murphy; his children, Tanya Farlinger (Trevor) of Ottawa and Ryan Murphy of Thunder Bay; his grandchild Lukas Farlinger; his brother Garry (Donna); and his sister-in-law Janet Murphy of Sudbury. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
