He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Cardwell and Aileen Cardwell; his brothers, George Herbert and James William; his former wife Maureen Madelon (Ward); his sons, Robert Ward and James Kenneth (Hiromi Okano); his wife Elizabeth Lotton (Boyd); his grandchildren, Ryan, Nino, Sean, Simon, Samuel, Madelon and Emma; his great grandchild Jacob; his stepsons, Terry (Jill) and Danny (Erica); his great grandchild Dallas; and also, Courtney and Jessica.
