He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myrtle Patchett and Huia Patchett; his wife Isobel (Bates); his children, Michael Fraser and Rebecca Jane; and his grandchildren, Colin Patchett, Susan Patchett, Celia McAlpine and Max McAlpine.
