He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sam (Betty), Murney (Doris), Joyce and Wayne. He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Trumble (Martin Magnee), Victoria O'Neill (Don) and Pamela Beatty (Toni); and also, Susan Bate Santos (Max) and Gary Bate. He is also survived by six grandsons, and eight great grandchildren.

If desired, memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
