He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Eric Hicks Pinkerton and Muriel Rachel Nelson Pinkerton; his daughter Jane Helena; his wife Marjorie Helena; his sons, David (Colleen), John (Tamara), Tom (Christine), Richard and Andrew (Elaine); his grandchildren, Bryn (Chris), Charlie, Nicholas, Elena, Basil, Lewis, Teddy, Eric, Claire, Cate and James; his great grandchildren, Jack and Wells; his sister Claire Spillard; and his parents-in-law, David and Elspeth Boyle. He was also cherished by extended family and friends.

She kept him happy, active and engaged in life, and helped him safely navigate the pandemic.
