He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Fenton and Joan Fenton; and his sister Janet Fenton. He is survived by: his wife Maureen (Jardine); his daughters, Janet (Imre Rozsa) and Nicole (Paul Baillie); his grandchildren, Kierra, Rilyn, Xavier, Octavia and Aislynn; and his sisters, Ruth Long, Marilyn Hunt (William) and Sandra Redden (Tim Anderson).

It was Roy's dream that a cure for Parkinson's Disease be found, and as such, charitable remembrances are requested through Parkinson Canada.
