She was predeceased by: her son Steven Armstrong; and her brother Fred Wemp (Veronica). She is survived by: her husband Larry Armstrong; her daughters, Cathy White (Paul), Vicky Sterling (late Richard), Carolyn Closs (Tim) and Christine Johnson (David); her grandchildren, Holly (Matthew), Kristy, Nicholas (Jessie), Nathan, Sam, Hewitt, Jack and Lily; and her siblings, Sharon Patterson (late Bill), Betty Ennis (Dale) and Jim Wemp (Debbie).

Memorial donations made in Sandra's memory to the L&A Hospital Foundation or Morning Star Mission would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: LENNOX & ADDINGTON COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION Morningstar Relief Mission Inc.
