It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Steinhause (Kingston, Ontario), who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her close friend Larry King; her children, Gary (Jackie Lyons), Eve-Lynn (Allen Flaming) and Ian Stein (Elizabeth Kubic); her niece Bonnie Cranin (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Janna (Kate Campbell), Zachary Flaming (Erin Ring), Maya (Phil James), Ben, Rachele and Toby Stein.

“Sandra was one of the first people I met when I moved to Bath in 2001. She left a wonderful impression on me so when I went to a meeting of the Fairfield-Gutzeit Society I sat beside my new friend. They were at the part of the meeting where they were discussing the Board. Sandra leaned over and asked me my last name. She then put up her hand and nominated me for the Board of Directors. I was immediately confirmed on the Board. That was the beginning of a 20 year friendship.”
