She was predeceased by: her husband Reino Jailos; her siblings, Annikki Vahvaselkä (Veli), Aili Kääriäinen, Onni Kääriäinen and Eeva Riikonen (Erkki); her parents, Emil Kääriäinen and Anna Kääriäinen; and her son-in-law James Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Hannu Jailos (Jennifer), T. Liisa Kelly and Eeva-Maija MacLeod (John); her grandchildren, Maija Puddle (Jonathan), Leena MacLeod, Raakel MacLeod, Krista MacLeod, John-Mark Jailos and Joy Jailos; and her great grandchildren, James Puddle, Ruuben Puddle, Emmi Puddle and Ava Puddle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
