He was predeceased by: his parents, Derrick and Kathleen Taylor; and his siblings, Valmay Barkey (late Art), Gordon Taylor (Glenda), Malcolm Taylor (Sue) and Sheryl Mendritzki (Wolf).

He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Jonathan (Kami Makar), David (Connie) and Alexandra (Gord Unsworth); and his grandchildren, Madeline, Rebecca Taylor, Jackson Taylor, Grace and Benjamin Unsworth.
