He was predeceased by: his wife Gisela; his parents, Elvin and Hilda; his brothers, Grant and Bob; and his granddaughter Stephanie Sofea Bruce.
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Brandy) and Deb (Diane Conlin); and his grandchildren, Steven Sofea, Brandon Bruce, Anthony, Sidney, Tanner Raven, Megan, Michael and Nathan MacLennan.
