He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Gaundlett and Ernie Thomas; and his brother Geoffrey. He is survived by: his husband Paul Benoit; his pets, Blue and Tiny; and his siblings, Alison Jefferies (Glyn), Johannesburg, Ruth Speed (late John), Jane Scott (Jim), Eric Thomas and Margaret Thompson (Bert). He is also survived by his 17 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews, his friends.
