Verna Clancy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Clancy (Kingston, Ontario), who passed away on September 18, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verna Clancy to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lysle; her great-grandparents, Livia (Liam Taylor), Madalyn, Mikayla Sperle (Jesse DeSa) and Jordyn Brindley; her sisters, Faye Welter and Carole Archer; her brothers-in-law, Dave Archer and Tom Raine; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Clancy; and her parents, Leslie "Red" Welter and Violet Welter.

She is survived by: her children, Colleen Clancy, Leslee Altin (Nic), Marc Clancy (Jill) and Jay Clancy (Rosemary); her grandchildren, Bill Taylor (Nancy), Shannon Sperle (Chad), Clancy Altin (Michelle), Jeremy Altin (Iryna), Matthew Clancy (Shawna) and Jordan Clancy (Jen); and her siblings, Marnie, Don McNeeley, Lesley Raine, Dale and Jim Dorey. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
