He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Derek Cole (Sue), Leslie Pettifer (Rob), Fiona Doulton, Deirdre Maas, Kirstie Attisha and Robert McDonald (Jennifer); his sisters-in-law, Janet McLean and Catherine Hilz; and his goddaughter Diane Dalzell (John). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
