He was predeceased by: his parents, Kitchener Watts and Marjorie Watts; his parents-in-law, Douglas and Amalie Bacon; his sisters, Sylvia Watts (Martin Power Sr.) and Marjorie Watts (Bob); and his sister-in-law Louise Bacon.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, David (Lorrie) and Sheri Galarneau (Wayne); his granddaughters, Dr. Ginger Chen (Jeff Orser) and Jasmine Watts; his siblings, Lloyd Watts (Laurette), Gail Lunn (Ken), Beverely Watts, Derek Watts and Jean Richardson (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Rodger Bacon, Ross Bacon (Ann) and Debbie Bacon (Mahmoud Salam). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends.
