She was predeceased by: her siblings, John (Ann), Albert (Rita), Frank (Fia), Theo (Linda) and Martin Smallegange (Eileen); and her former husband John Van Der Meer.
She is survived by: her children, Gary, Alicia and Carolyne (Robert Kopersiewich); her grandson Eric Kopersiewich (Eleny Dritsas); and her siblings, Tom Smallegange (Mary), Kathy Vanden Berg (Murray) and Joe Smallegange (Joanie).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Irvine Funeral Home (4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to AB Smith Homestead House, care of University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
