We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 80, Winnifred Carol Jaansalu (Kingston, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Winnifred Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ants; and her sisters, Lorraine Colford and Edna McFarlane. She is survived by: her sister Bess MacMaster; her children, Kevin (Mary Lou) and Patricia; and her grandsons, Michael and Matthew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
