She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Paterson and Ada Paterson; and her siblings, David, Robert (Bobby), Audrey, Verna and Mary (Tiny).

She is survived by: her husband Charlie Forte; her children, Chuck (Judy) and Jeannie; her niece Wendy Smith (late Jeffery Smith); her daughter Holly Conway; her grandchildren, Emily Chamberlain (Rory), Lauren Kirk (Matt) and Ben Forte; her great-niece Mallory Smith; her great grandchildren, Brynn, Deacon, Myla, Jax and Vivian; and her siblings, Charles Paterson (Brud), Frances McQueen (Tootie), Ruth Gallagher (Bonnie) and Gordon Paterson. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and large extended family.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to U.H.K.F. or St. Paul's Anglican Church in Winnie's memory.
