With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zach Holmes of Kingston, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 27. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gail Hunt and Donald Holmes. He is survived by: his parents, Jeffrey Holmes and Lisa Holmes of Kingston; his brother Kaelan Holmes of Ottawa; his uncle Jayson Hunt (Julie) of Brockville, ON; his cousins, Colyn and Emerson Hunt; his grandparents, Velma Holmes and Lorne Hunt; and his pets, Maddy and Maisy.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Zach may do so to Lionhearts Charity, a foundation that was very special to Zach.

Im going to miss his infectious smile, he always made me smile when i was having a rough day at work and always reminded me that some people still care about others in this world whenever i questioned if anybody left in the world cared.
